Exclusive 'Dead Man Down' Poster: Revenge And The City

Dead Man Down

Before David Fincher told the story of "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" with Rooney Mara, a Danish television production led by director Niels Arden Oplev and star Noomi Rapace told the whole story of Lisbeth Salander. Now Oplev is bringing his talents stateside, and he's taking his leading lady with him.

"Dead Man Down," a new revenge thriller starring Rapace and Colin Farrell, debuted its first trailer last week, but today, we have your exclusive first look at a poster from the upcoming movie.

Check out the poster for "Dead Man Down" after the jump!

In "Dead Man Down," Farrell plays Victor, a man who works for a violent crime boss in New York City (Terrence Howard). When a mysterious woman contacts him and then blackmails him, Victor must take him down with every ounce of fire power he's got.

If you're familiar with the original "Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" or the two follow-ups, you should be able to recognize Oplev's dark style, which Rapace fits right in with.

"Dead Man Down" opens on March 8, 2013.

AT&T to offers exclusive Garnet Red Samsung Galaxy S III

AT&T gets another exclusivity deal, this time on the Galaxy S III. It will be the only carrier in the world (at least for now) to offer the Garnet Red version of the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone.

The Garnet Red edition will be available on pre-order from July 15 and it will hit the retail stores two weeks later ? on July 29. The pricing will be the same as the already available Marble White and Pebble Blue versions.
We guess the AT&T exclusivity on this deal won?t last forever and other carriers and regions will probably get it sometime later this year.

Apple extends exclusive deal with Liquidmetal by two years

Apple has used liquidmetal sparingly so far - just for the SIM ejector tool for iPhones and iPads - but the company behind the material announced that the exclusive deal between them and Apple has been extended for two more years.

The deal gives Apple exclusive rights to use liquidmetal for consumer electronic products (the material is also used in various sport equipment). The original deal ended on February 5 2012, but it has been extended until February 5, 2014.

With many leaks pointing to a metal back on the upcoming iPhone 5, the extended deal might mean that Apple will be using the tough alloy for the back of its new smartphone. There has been speculation that using the liquidmetal for the SIM ejector tool is a low-risk way to test both the material and the manufacturing process.

Or it could mean they just really like those liquidmetal ejector tools. Just like with the new screen aspect ratio, we won't know for sure until Tim Cook takes the stage and unveils the new iPhone.
