Bikinis and big booties might be what it's all about, yo, but this year's biggest spring break destination isn't a beachside retreat: instead, a critical mass of the cast of "Spring Breakers" showed up at Austin's South by Southwest festival to party down, celebrate digital culture and take part in a fun panel discussion with fans and filmmakers.
Selena Gomez, Rachel Korine, Ashley Benson and James Franco joined director Harmony Korine at the Texas to-do, where they posed for pictures and answered questions about the soon-to-be-released movie.
Unlike their on-screen alter egos, all three leading ladies left their swimwear at home (after wearing nothing else on set, they've probably got a serious case of bikini fatigue), opting instead for colorful dresses in fun, funky prints. Ashley was the most glam of the bunch, with a black-and-white halter dress, a mess of silver bracelets, and her recently-dyed brunette hair in a messy topknot, and Rachel Korine sported a multi-hued asymmetrical number in a wild floral print. But it was Selena Gomez who was the spring break standout in a high-waisted orange skirt and a tropical tie-back bustier halter that was pure Carmen Miranda; all that's missing is a fruit-laden headpiece.
